College is Wicked Awesome!

Note: I would have posted this sooner but I never had the chance.

Guess what? Come on...guess. Aw, it's no fun if you don't. *tear* Are you sure? You will? Oh joy! *listens* Psh. No. Wrong! But that was a good try. You want to know the truth? OK, ready?

I ACED BOTH OF MY COLLEGE CLASSES LAST SEMESTER! *dances* Is that not the single most sweetest thing in the history of ever?!

*brushes lint off of shirt and coughs in embarrassment* So, ya, I'm kind of excited. But that was the fall semester and now I must worry about the winter semester. I'm taking Freshman English Composition and Intro to American Government. English is at the college and Gov't is online. I'm not gonna lie to you I'm enjoying it immensely. English isn't to bad so far. The reading is a bit more than I'm used to; however, I read so much that comprehension is fairly simple. I absolutely love Gov't. It's all kinds of fun, seriously. *hangs head in shame* I'm such a geek.

Things just happen, what the heck

Growing up is assumed to be gradual. Little by little, ya know? Wrong! It just kind of pounces on you, giving you only a few seconds to think 'What the heck?' before it's all over. I'm mean everyone knows it's coming. Yet it's surprisingly sneaky.

One day your sitting in the middle of class listening to your fifth grade teacher ramble on and on and the next thing you know your holding your high school diploma. (Oddly enough that is only a year away for me. My how time sure does fly.) We think we have so much time to prepare for life; then, when the time comes The Wisdom of the Ancients will come over us and BING we'll be adults. Wrong!

I mean sure, people give you helpful tips and tricks but in the ends it's all you. And no amount of preparing can tell you how to grow up. In the end all you can do is learn from the mistakes you and countless other have already made, make new ones, and keep moving forward.

Just something to think about, SG
