Growing up is assumed to be gradual. Little by little, ya know? Wrong! It just kind of pounces on you, giving you only a few seconds to think 'What the heck?' before it's all over. I'm mean everyone knows it's coming. Yet it's surprisingly sneaky.
One day your sitting in the middle of class listening to your fifth grade teacher ramble on and on and the next thing you know your holding your high school diploma. (Oddly enough that is only a year away for me. My how time sure does fly.) We think we have so much time to prepare for life; then, when the time comes The Wisdom of the Ancients will come over us and BING we'll be adults. Wrong!
I mean sure, people give you helpful tips and tricks but in the ends it's all you. And no amount of preparing can tell you how to grow up. In the end all you can do is learn from the mistakes you and countless other have already made, make new ones, and keep moving forward.
Just something to think about, SG

Love you Haley! I sure do love you Hales! I mean it!
I know exactly what you are talking about... trust me... let you siblings have their ignorant childish fun while they can... teach them what you know and always be there for them, even when you don't want to because you want time to yourself! LOL! Have fun while you can Hales, but with in good reason...
I truly love you and wish I could have on of your hugs, bottle it up, and let it out when I need one from you, love!
Your sister in Christ!
Kate
